Overview

This training pack aims to help volunteers build confidence and increase self-esteem.

The objectives are to define confidence and self-esteem, identify confident people, measure current confidence levels, discuss the benefits of increased confidence, understand and overcome negative thoughts, identify other barriers to confidence, put the theory into practice, and create a plan for continued growth.

Objective

By the end of the session participants will:

-have defined confidence and self-esteem
- have measured their own confidence & self esteem level
- have discussed benefits of being more confident and having a higher opinion of themselves
- have understood the consequence of negative thoughts and how to overcome them
- have identified barriers to being confident
- have devised a way to measure confidence levels
