An informal two hour workshop to deliver information to potential community groups and organisers. Contains activities that will enthuse and empower them to be active in their community.
The workshop emphasises the importance of understanding community activism, exploring various ways of engaging in community development, and recognizing the structures and needs of different community groups. It also addresses potential challenges in community development and provides strategies to overcome them

By the end of the session participants will:
- have an understanding of the meaning of Community Development
- have explored different ways of becoming involved in the community
